At only 21 years old Alexander Kostritsyn, from Russia, was the youngest player at the final table of the Texas Holdem Main Event. Alexander went head to head with the legendary veteran pro, Erik Seidel, to win the Aussie Millions crown aptly at the Crown Casino, Melbourne. At AUD$1.65m this is the largest ever poker prize in the Southern Hemisphere. This is how they finished:

1st - Alexander Kostritsyn - AUD$1,650,000
2nd - Erik Seidel - AUD$1,000,000
3rd - Michael Chrisanthopoulos - AUD$700,000
