PokerStars have announced that they are offering 16 guaranteed packages to the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo in one super tournament on 19th January at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm ET).
This special tournament called ‘EPT Monte Carlo Super’ can be found (after downloading the PokerStars software) by going to the lobby, clicking on events, then EPT. You will see that the satellites to this tournament are running now from as little as $5.50 or you can buy in direct for $1,000 + $50. The 16 Pokerstars packages to be won include buy in (€10,600), hotel and $1,000 spending money.

PokerStars have come up with another amazing promotion for December. Never has position been so important in the PokerStars Tournament Leaderboard (TLB). This month the TLB will be used to distribute over $250,000 in cash prizes and live tournament packages to the top 1,000 players in December.
Overall there are four packages to the EPT Monte Carlo up for grabs and every player in the top 1,000 will have a chance to win a package or a cash prize. Julien Thew – the very popular poker player from Nottingham, England is the EPT Baden Champion!
Julien beat a field of 281 other players to take the prize of €670,800, plus the €10,000 buy in to the EPT Grand Final in Monaco, April 2008.
He said he wanted to pay off his mortgage (he had £20,000 to go) before he was 40 and he made it with loads of cash to spare with 2 weeks to go! Well done Julien!
