The last Sunday of the year, 27th December 2009, brought the biggest ever online poker tournament with
Pokerstars smashing their previously held Guinness World Record with an amazing 149,196 people playing on PokerStars in one tournament no. 234567890 with a buy in of just $1!
PokerStars added $150,000 to the prize money and our congratulations go out to oskar69 who came first in the biggest field in poker history to take home $50,000 – nice work!

This has been a long awaited Final Table for WSOP 08. It all started way back in May when 6,700 hopeful poker players converged on Las Vegas clutching $10,000 for the buy in to the WSOP 08 Main Event. That’s 6,700 players who were whittled down to just nine for the final table - then, for the first year, the long wait began for the final table action to begin.

Poker.com has had a bit of a facelift and a name change to
PDC Poker, but the familiar crown is still there on the logo and much is still the same on this quality site. So, no worries for PDC’s loyal players, all the features you loved about Poker.com are still there, in short, PDC is the same as poker.com, only better! PDC Poker also still accepts USA players.
