Euro Extra Time from Party Poker.com

Euro 2008, Europe’s biggest football tournament has kicked off and Europe’s biggest online poker site, Party Poker.com, bring you match day freeroll tournaments to celebrate. All you have to do to join the action is earn just one (1) Party Point, at Party Poker or Party Bets, on the match day between 5.00am and 8.30pm UK that’s 12.00am – 3.30pm New York. Once you’ve earned your Party Point the tournaments are easy to find, go from lobby to freerolls to Euro Extra Time and then register to play that evening (registration is not automatic). There are going to be two types of tournaments.

• During the Group Stages which run from June 7th to June 18th the guaranteed prize pool will be $2,500 with $100 added for every goal scored. The tournament will kick off at 9.45pm UK (4.45pm New York), if extra time is played then the tournament will be postponed until 10.45pm UK (5.45pm New York)
• During the Knockout Stage from June 19th to June 29th the guaranteed prize pool will be $3,500 with $200 added for every goal scored. The tournament will kick off at 9.45pm UK (4.45pm New York), if extra time is played then the tournament will be postponed until 10.45pm UK (5.45pm New York)

If the matches played that day bring two nil – nil draws (2 x 0 – 0) then $1000 will be added to the prize pool. Please note penalties DO NOT count.

This is a fantastic tournament and one of the best non WSOP freerolls that’s been around for a while. So, even if your National Football Team didn’t qualify this time (writer hangs head in despair) there is still some fun to be had with Euro Extra Time from Party Poker.com.
